Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective 9 July 2026

You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Subscription fees are otherwise non-refundable — we only refund when a paid feature genuinely isn't working, or for a duplicate or failed charge.

Scope

This policy applies to paid Zovera subscriptions (Mini, Individual and Family) purchased through the app. The Free plan involves no payment and needs no cancellation.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment partner Razorpay.
  • Prices are shown before checkout, including any applicable taxes.
  • Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel first.

Cancelling your subscription

  • You can cancel at any time from Settings → Premium in the app, or by writing to us.
  • Cancellation stops the next renewal — it does not end your plan immediately.
  • You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • After that, your account moves to the Free plan. Your records and text data are kept — but if the account stays on Free for more than 3 months, photos and documents backed up to cloud storage may be removed (see our Privacy Policy).

When refunds are given

We issue refunds only in these cases:

  • The feature isn't working — if a paid feature is genuinely broken on our side and our team can't resolve it within a reasonable time, we'll refund the affected period. Please write to us first so we can try to fix it.
  • Duplicate or failed charges — payments charged twice, or charged without the plan activating, are refunded in full once verified.
  • Extended outages — if a verified problem on our side keeps you from using paid features for a prolonged period, we'll refund or credit that time fairly.

When refunds are not given

  • Change of mind — subscription fees are non-refundable simply because you no longer want or use the plan. Cancel before the next renewal instead; you keep access until the period you paid for ends.
  • Renewal charges — cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge; a renewal that has already been billed is not refunded.
  • Partial periods — we don't pro-rate refunds for time left in a billing period after you cancel.
  • Accounts closed for violating our Terms of Use.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

How refunds are processed

Write to zovera.support@gmail.com from the email linked to your account, with the payment reference if you have it. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically arrive within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.
